I know I should be posting my new Taipei's life but I am still digesting some of the cultures here. My time here has been evolving around school, and lOOOOOts of Chinese characters - writing them and the worse ... searching through the thick/heavy Chinese dictionary(ies). I swear I have never squint my eyes as much as now EVER ... I think I may need a reading glasses very soon. So for the time being, I shall share with you some photos from Indonesia~!

Hello! Hello! Hello!
I am sincerely sorry for the 1 month absence.
I had gone cold turkey off internet for 1 whole month and amazingly ... ... ... I have survived !!
I have recently trying to fit in at 4 different places in a month time.
... INDONESIA ...
Below are some of my adventure review/update so far from my iPhone. Why iPhone? Because, I’m just too lazy to be carrying a big ass camera around like a pro when I’m only just an amateur to the core. - Hey, it rhymes! Haha* (pardon me, Jet Lag!)
This blog has been as slow as a snail or worse... ... ... as slow as the TRAFFIC IN JAKARTA!! (the travelling time by cars from the airport to my home is equal or longer to the travelling time from Jakarta to Singapore by plane - no kidding! And in case if you were wondering, Jakarta – Singapore is approximately 1hr+)
So, my journey began with 1 very overweight luggage and 5 hand carries. Yet somehow, I made it through custom without paying any $$$ for the excess baggage.
After a very looong, grueling 8 hour flight in one jam-packed plane, I finally arrived in yet another overflowing people in green at the airport (the porters - that's what people call them in Indonesia). For approximately Rp5,000 - they're ready to be at your service to pick up your overweight luggage like mine. THANK GOODNESS!
From Jakarta to Bali to Surabaya meant = exotic fruits & sexy drinks! + some funky looking animals.
Oh yes, Happy Belated Halloween!!! I had an interesting kind of Halloween back home, kind of like an East meet West type of Halloween. I wasn’t sure if I should dress up as the scary killer doll or the cute bald Lego dude. I was also thinking that I should probably ride that killer retro scooter bike around town. At the end, I opted THIS -à a distorted ugly lady holding and sipping on giant tea cup acting like a crazy woman.
Last but not least, I am now in the beautiful TAIPEI! Things couldn’t be any better than this! It feels so weird to be a student all over again and surrounded by people from all over the world. But I have no complaints ... ... ... just yet.
Ok, that's a little update from moi! I hope you all have a absolutely satisfying day today! I will keep you updated with more culture shocks in a few days! =)

I started blogging about eight months ago and not once did I think that I would meet beautiful readers who would later became my good friends. Two bloggers who have always leave beautiful comments and emails are none other than Willow & Daria of Pigtails & Blushing Cheeks. I guess in a way, they really remind me of ME when I was their age; over the top colourful and "I don't give a s**t what people think how I look - girls just wanna have fun" style. Well, they are just KAWAII overload (cute overload that is) !!
One day, as I was packing and cleaning out my closet, I realized how many things I own that I'd never wear anymore. But I just couldn't bare to see them in the Salvos bins, or in the hands of people who would never appreciate them. Then suddenly ... ... ... *Willow & Daria* came through my mind AND Christmas is just around the corner! What a better way to thank these girls AND give them their early Christmas preznets? Oh, GOODIE!!
So I wrapped and I wrapped and I folded and I crocheted. VOILA!
Hope they fit, my lovelies! =)
P.S: This will be my last post for this month as I will be moving overseas. I will start updating my travel journal @ Click Clock Culture next month when I have settled down. PLEASE don't stop coming here! Your support and comments are the only thing that keep me going! I promise you more pictures, less writing & definately MORE updates!
You may also follow me on Twitter @eLLyClickClock to receive much faster updates! ;)

Have you ever realized how beautiful one's profile can be from the side?
I do!
The bony structure of the face, forehead, nose and chin ... the lashes. Eveything seems a lot more prominent from the side - depending on the angle. The thinner lip may appear poutier, or lashes look a lot longer, nose seems straighter.
I suppose this is one of the reasons why we have cameo which are often worn as jewellery, and the art of papercutting profile portrait. (like the one I have here)
Recent research also indicates humans are able to extract accurate information about gender and age from the silhouette alone.

*** The year was 1973 - when I was a part time reporter during the day and a ballet dancer at night. I was a 'Band-Aide'/ a groupie, I'd hopped on a bus, went on a road trip with a group of rock band & toured the country. It was the year of my life. ***
So today..., I felt like that 70's tiny dancer.
You know when I kept saying that Spring was definatelly here in Australia? Seriously,... I DON'T feel it!!! BUT, this pretty little ones certainly knows. My first, one and only rose in my new garden!! It's gorgeous! All by itself...hiding in the corner.

Over the weekend I stayed over at my sister's place and I just had to take some pictures of her jewelries & share them with you readers. I LOVE and definately can't live without jeweleries. Most of the times, I dress up based on my accessories or jewelries
When it comes to these pretty little things, me and my sister have quite similar taste. We both love feminine and girly things, except her's is usually more classic and I on the other hand, love chunkyness and sometimes a little bit more kooky.
I also like how my sister keeps her little treasures. She uses a small doll chair to put most of her earrings and other trinkets. This doll chair is also the first thing you see on her dressing table. There are also different coloured jewelery boxes and I love how she mixes old new new style of boxes to keep them, but still sticking to light pastely, natural colours.
You might have seen this cute little old man on my previous post. He's my sister's dog; Moshi!
I am now on my expedition to find lots of BIG over the top earrings to wear. My hair is getting longer now & I'm just so lazy to style them & have been putting them in a bun. Chunky earrings are PERFECT!
